conditions were excellent. We had the sun, the snow, vine chaud, tartiflette but this time we also had a bit of warmth with a couple of degrees above zero. The best way to go to Les Menuires which is a valley in the Les Trois Vallées is to drive to Orelle and ski through Val Thorens. However when returning to Orelle you must make sure you don't miss out on the last ski lift to Orelle otherwise you must take a taxi to Orelle which will not be cheap or stay the night in Val Thorens.
When we were leaving Orelle in the afternoon we had 12 degrees and the birds were chirping, spring is certainly here.
